If God is by nature good and not neutral, then he/she cannot be the creator of evil in the world, or creator of all that happens in violation of his code. The Other is that whole arena where greys and blacks exist and intervention staged by God removes the consequences from actions. The thing is though, is it more important to let people live with the consequences of their own actions or to protect people against consequences of OTHERS’ actions. You cannot be equal in the eyes of God if you are placed in circumstances that make it difficult for you to follow his edicts. If each individual has to fight for importance in the world and in the eyes of God, to somehow somehow be the survivor who makes it to the grand narrative of this world where the sum of events is preferred over the individuals that become their target groups, then is worship anything more than ass kissing?
